Is targeting one vertical market a sign of laziness?

    What are you aiming for?

Is targeting one vertical market a sign of laziness?

    It sure isn't.

Many business owners find fulfillment and success by specializing in one vertical market.

Doing 7 or 8 figures of high-margin, impactful, and rewarding work for a specific audience is enough for them.

(I've met many of them, and it's true)

For others, focusing on one vertical market is a stepping stone into larger growth opportunities.

For example, Jeff Bezos started Amazon in 1994 by only selling books online.

Today it is a $1T company with many business lines and stocks over 120 million products on its site across many, many categories.

In other words, just because you start with one vertical focus does not mean you have to stop there.

It depends on what you want in life and business.

    Question to ponder:

👉 Will we be satisfied with one vertical market, or is it a stepping stone to additional verticals?

    Have a great day!
